Wow, this was out of the blue,
It is not first time that we’ve been to Berat but never been to “Castle Park Hotel” before we heard from locals that’s... read more is one of the place that must be visited, so this time we decided to go.

We were large group my parents, my brother who lives in Canada with his fiancee and me in England with my wife and two children. Honestly don’t know where to start from beginning to the end it was 100%. Initially when we entered we’ve been asked by a young waiter called (Ranato) if we had a booking but we did not! It did not metter he gave us the best table we requested and served as through to the end.

Delicious food, high quality and fresh wow unbelievable, what made me more impressed is that Renato had almost full restaurant with large tables and he did not miss a thing, plus there was definitely food wrongly explained/written in the menu “Berat Beef Steak” which for some reason came not beef had to return it! again, with restaurant being full he did not hesitate to rectify the issue so quickly in a professional manner!.

We ordered soup for my 7 month daughter and he did ask us if we wanted blended! We of course wanted that! brilliant!! . I do not often write comments but we own restaurant ourselves in England and we do know how hard is to do this job especially on your own!.

We definitely suggest to anyone any occasion to visit Castle Park Hotel,

I stayed in one of their... read more small villas which boasts traditionally furnished rooms in keeping with the surrounding nature. There wasn't a menu at breakfast but you're served a variety of different foods to try in small quantities. What I loved about this hotel is how many activities they offer guests (and non-guests). I partook in one of their traditional Albanian cooking classes in the kitchen which was a lot of fun and afterwards I was able to eat my creations while enjoying a mountain view. I also went on one of their rafting tours in the Osumi Canyon which takes most of the day but includes lunch at a local restaurant. Make sure you look at their activities and tours on their website because they have a lot more to offer too.

Me and my boyfriend came here only for the restaurant but then we learned they also offer tours around and accomodation in their hotel so we extended our stay in Berat just to enjoy everything they offer. It was all high quality. Don't miss it!

The salad was very fresh and the traditional dishes reminded me of my grandmother's dishes. I will be back again in this wonderful hotel. I recommend 100% staying in this hotel as the rooms were comfortable and the breakfast abundant and fantastic.
