Snow Shoeing on Mount Tomori
Baba Tomori filled with snow gives you the pleasure of enjoying this spiritual mountain in a completely different way!
- Castle Park Hotel, Berat and Albania Rafting Group organize a fantastic trip to Tomor with off-road vehicles, snow shoeing rockets and picnic lunch. Winter is the most beautiful time to visit through the sport of snowshoeing (walking in the snow with the help of snow rockets).
You will experience spectacular scenery, magic, tranquility, regeneration and blessings of the gods, looking at beautiful alpine pastures, steep rocky peaks and crystal clear water springs.
This trip is suitable for the whole family – children and teenagers often love the snow!
Program:
Breakfast and early departure at 8.00am from Berat Hotel Castle Park
• Trip by 4×4 car to Teqe e Bekashinjeve (about 2 hours) and preparation for walking in the snow. The snowshoeing experience will last about 3 hours.
• After snowshoeing, we will enjoy a lunch with traditional dishes in Perle e Tomori and return to Berat.
Things to bring with you:
- Moisture-proof backpack recommended
- Suitable waterproof walking shoes
- Snow clothes (gloves, scarf) and extra clothes
- Avoid cotton clothing (keeps moisture close to your skin)
- Don’t forget warm socks and a warm waterproof jacket and hiking pants
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- It is goof to keep all your clothes and personal belongings in your backpack, which can be easily transported in 4×4 vehicles.
This daily program costs 50 euro/person and includes:
- Professional guide
- 4×4 off-road transport (about 4 hours round trip)
